Begur Fort
A small circular fort in Begur, a suburb off the Bengaluru-Hosur highway, said to have been built by the Cholas near the old Panchalingeshwara temple complex. An inscription of about 890 CE found at the temple is the earliest known mention of a place called Bengaluru.
