Big Banyan Tree

A banyan tree more than 400 years old at Kettohalli, off the Bengaluru–Mysuru Road, whose prop roots spread over about 3 acres. The main trunk died of disease around the 2000s, so it now looks like a grove of separate trees. It is maintained by the state Department of Horticulture.
